إسماعيل عماره مصري عمل في مجالي الكتابة والإخراج السينمائي. بدأ مسيرته المهنية عام 1953 بكتابة فيلم الحرمان، وتابع عمله حتى عام 1993. من أعماله البارزة في الإخراج الحرباء (1986) والحرملك (1987)، كما شارك في كتابة الحرملك (1987) وأخرج الحياة في الظلام (1993).Ismail Omara was an Egyptian screenwriter and director active from 1953 to 1993. He began his career with the writing credit for al-Hirmān (1953) and went on to direct several films including al-Hirba'a (1986), al-Harmlak (1987), and al-Hayāt fī al-Ẓulām (1993). He also contributed as a writer to al-Harmlak (1987).
