He worked in both acting and writing across seven credited works spanning from 1953 to 2009, including al-Harām (1965), al-Hirba' (1986)—for which he also contributed to writing—Shitā' al-Bard (2004), and Shitā' Hār (2009), in which he played the character Ahmad al-Saghīr.
